asciiflow - a WYSIWYG editor to draw ASCII diagrams and drawings on the web
Checkout ASCIIFLOW by Lewis Hemens a Software Engineer at Google in AdSense.
Embed flow drawings in emails, blogs and text based media. You can also share and save them as well as export your drawings to DITAA.
I intend to expand the site further to incorporate a gallery, and when core work has been competed I have every intention of making this entirely open source!
- Lewis HemensThe site is made in Google Web Toolkit (GWT) and runs on Google AppEngine. If you’re drawing large diagrams, use Chrome for the best results. It’s very heavy on JavaScript.

2299: THE GAME
There is a webcomic I’ve got recently hooked into, called 2299. It’s created by Bryan Lunduke, who is one of my favorite podcasters over at jupiterbroadcasting.com, which I also really like. To sum up here is what it’s about (quote from Bryan’s blog):
Set in the same universe as the 2299 web comic (and using the same 8-bit pixel art), the game follows the adventure of a small little ship (named “Ted”) who gets sent to pick up some stationary. One thing leads to another and you end up stranded in a previously unexplored part of the Galaxy.
It costs only 5 bucks and is available on Linux, Mac and Window$. DRM-Free. Come on, you want this.

This is what it looks like.
This clause was so missing from Omegle. I’m glad they put this out there.
Nuvola-player
Ever since I’ve discovered that last.fm became a paid service, I’ve been desperately looking for alternatives. There are a bunch of nice sites similar to last.fm, but there was one thing that i still miss(ed): the scrobbler. This little app can be our salvation, called nuvola-player. To download it you’ll have to enter this to your terminal (its in the AUR for you Arch-lovers! bazaar is required, obviously):
bzr branch lp:nuvola-player
This works pretty much like the google music frame, plus it supports a bunch of other sites aswell (like Grooveshark or 8tracks). It has a bunch of nice features and a sweet minimalistic design appealing to the eye. AFAIK this app is Linux exclusive (correct me if I’m wrong). Here is a screenshot for you:

Just a rant
Dear MÁV (the Hungarian state railroad company) why on earth do you start trains with only one wagon during the rush hours and why do you keep starting them with three (!) in the night?! Are you mad?
QR Surprise
I just discovered this cool webapp (thanks to @xBB7x) that allows you to encode text into QR code which when scanned redirects to google translator which ‘speaks’ your text. Pretty cool, huh?
